A House, A Life.

(30 minute filmed documentary)

Set in the Wapiti Valley just outside of Cody, WY stands the abandoned Smith Mansion. Left to his children 19 years ago after his untimely death, Francis Lee Smith’s legacy has been reignited by his daughter. Motivated by the death of her brother, the only other heir to the house, she is now on a journey to restore his dream, all the while getting to know the father who left her too soon.

This documentary was created by Go West Productions, who are five ambitious Telecommunications students at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. During their Spring Break in 2011, they drove 1500 miles west to capture footage and watch their story develop through each of the ten interviews.
